The Wonders of Wood
Wood has been the material of choice by builders for centuries. Relative to things like stone, it is easy to work with. Many builders however have never pushed the limits of wood, preferring instead to stay within the confines of rectangular and square designs. So it is with a bit of delight that I bring you the picture below. Made completely of wood, this church on an island in Russia, showcases just how far some have taken the art of building with wood.
