Here’s an interesting idea. Solar panels that include the inverter and battery, right inside. Basically it’s plug-n-play photovoltaics that can be used easily, anywhere. Even at that mountain cabin for powering a computer, or lights, or fan or a medical device. The company is not in production yet, but has done an initial run of the product to get it into the hands of interested distributors. There’s much more about it right here.

  1. Great idea. May we call this a “solar” idea? :P

  2. I can think of many people interested in the plug & play solar idea! Thanks for sharing.

With the growing number of companies looking to go green, it’s no surprise that these solar panels are becoming more and more useful. Some towns now are even switching to solar panels on street lights. This idea of plugging your appliances right in is a very interesting concept.

We have “plug and play” 120 volt AC panels/inverter “kits”. They are our “DECKPOWER120″ and “LAWNPOWER120″ systems. Check them out, ot’s worth the time.

    thanks

  5. Hey everybody! The May 5th 2012 full moon is a Super Moon! In case you don’t know the Super moon is a moon that is full at the point in its orbit at which it is closest to the earth – AKA perigee-syzygy.

The Perigee of course is the term for being closest to the earth and the syzygy is the term for the alignment of the Sun, the Earth and The Moon (in that order) creating the full moon!

The moon appears about 16% larger but its relative as you don’t have anything to gauge it against.

    Just a fun FYI!
