One inconvenient aspect of poly septic tanks has always been the need to put water in them, before backfilling so they don’t rise up in the hole as dirt settles around them. Well now, Norwesco says it has a solution and it is included in a new line of low-profile septic tanks.

The new tanks are manufactured using Norwesco’s proprietary state-of-the-art rotational molding process. Norwesco’s rotational molding construction ensures uniform tank wall thickness and maximum strength.

The new low profile tanks also provide several advantages when compared to septic tanks made of traditional materials. Their lighter weight makes them easier to transport and install, and the combination of the low profile and ease of installation make the new tanks an ideal choice for all installation sites. They require no special backfill or filling with water during installation, saving significant time. Because the tanks are seamless, they require no assembly or leakage testing, saving more time and effort during installation.

The company will introduce a full line of low profile, seamless septic tanks in March. The new tanks will be available in the most commonly used sizes — 500, 750, 1,000, 1,250, and 1,500 gallons, and will be available in single and double compartment versions.
